Good Morning, all!!! Thanks for all the comments regarding my idea!! I chose to use MG's response since there is a relevant argument regarding it.
You see, we have tried that. You will notice there are two "Pissing you Off" Threads. There are countless Threads asking specific questions that inevitably end up with one or more loser posting his garbage. It is simply not the answer because there is always the idiot that will continue to do as he damn well pleases and claim it is "free speech" or some other moronic justification. We cannot censor speech here, nor should we. That is not the answer I seek. We should always have an open forum. I have asked, from day one, that we all conduct ourselves with some kind of dignity but I am one person. I do not have nearly the influence some believe I do.
If we were able to have ONE Thread that was restricted by its creator or even Murray, we could simply allow those that have earned the right to post there. Further, we would be able to chat there with NO troublemakers! They could not get in there and we would be free of the disgusting banter we find in EVERY other Thread. The regulars could simply go to this Thread and talk about whatever they wish while those that do not want to be involved would have full access to the rest of the Board as always. We could even set up a system by which a regular would "sponsor" any newbee that wishes to gain access to this particular Thread. In this way, we could add new people to the chat and be sure they are not just more of the same idiots looking to post inappropriate trash. Allowing members in based solely on Respect Points or tenure would NOT work, as cretins like our pal Roger have clearly demonstrated.
I wish I were a "tech-nerd" of some sort so that I could actually present this idea with some intelligence to Murray , but I am not. Perhaps if enough of us get behind the idea, he will take notice? That is, if we all agree it is an effective solution.

LOL maybe we need a argument thread, just call it the "argument thread" for name calling fighting ect..
I mean why subject all the good threads to this childish behaivior.. Just keep it in one thread. and people can go on acting as stupid as they want to be and the rest of us can just ignore the thread.
Okay On ward.... I hope everyone is having a great weekend .. Iam in heaven got my Ac/Dc tickets. and then there are the Priest men in July ... The summer is looking great!!!! Hopefully all my relatives remain in good health, or better health this year... And things will be complete... But all in all life is good!

I am referring to ALL of it, strat. "Language filtering"...? Do you really believe that is what I meant? Good Lord, I was really hoping I would not have to go on in detail! This is not about "free speech", my friend. This is about the right to have a place where we can gather and share without stupidity. That includes all of this bickering nonsense! NOT just foul language or sexual discussion (which, by the way, does NOT have a place here) Of course , THAT is my opinion as well. You will notice I do NOT post in the "Thong" Threads.

If you are refering to the Priest tickets sale thread, I already posted what I think about it there. No thank you - if there is anything we dont need is more language filtering.

Ah! Good Afternoon, folks! So nice and quiet in here. No idiotic babble and foul, distasteful rhetoric! You know, I have been thinking about this and I wonder if there is a way that Murray can set it up so that a Thread can be created and the person that does so can "ban" certain people from posting in it? Perhaps require the creator to "approve" who posts in it? That way, we could simply open a Thread and allow the regulars a place to chat without moronic, random profanity and losers that cannot control their adolescent behavior. Those new members that come here and act in a civilized manner could "request" entry into the Thread and those regulars that do not care for the topic or participants could simply continue to post in the other Threads.....
He managed to do the "Respect Points" thing and that , unfortunately, has not been entirely effective. Short of mods (which is NOT going to happen) this would at least give us sanctuary from the lower forms of life. Too much to ask?
