I saw that game! I bought the MLB package through my cable company and that was one of the series they had this weekend. I think the field is lovely! Seems like they are still trying to find the "power" area , though. Looks like it is tough to hit it out of that place! Lots of wind swirling. VERY pretty stadium, Scorp.
I am SOOO thankful that LA re-signed Manny. I know he was a pain in the butt in Boston but he is a lightning rod in LA. Absolutely awesome in all areas!!! He makes others around him so much better. Have you seen Either's numbers? He is blossoming thanks to Manny hitting behind him. Amazing what Manny can do when he is happy. He said it himself, better to be happy for TWO years than unhappy for eight elsewhere! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by scorpion01 from Monday, April 20, 2009 1:20:53 PM)

WENT TO THE NEW CITI FIELD PARK FRIDAY WITH MY SON. GREAT STADIUM ! VERY FAN FRIENDLY! ANYWHERE YOU SIT YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ON THE FIELD.
ONLY PROBLEM. YOU WALK INTO THE JACKIE ROBINSON ROTUNDA. PICTURES OF BRANCH RICKEY, JACKIE ROBINSON. FILMS OF ROBINSON. LIKE A MUSEUM. YOU GO UP AN ESCULATOR AND THERE IS THE EBBITS FIELD CLUB HOUSE BAR.
WHERE IS THE MES HISTORY? IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE GIL HODGES ROTUNDA. WITH PICTURES OF TOM SEAVER AND DARYL STRAWBERRY. I FELT LIKE I WAS GOING TO SEE THE METS AT THE NEW DODGER STADIUM.
