Haha yeah, no worrys about smudges on glasses fuzzying things up and whatever. All nice n clear!
Lost my vision during high school. In my first year of high school (I think) a public health nurse came and tested the vision of everyone in my year. I had 20/20 vision. A year later, when I was nearly 15 I think, I was in biology class and suddenly realised I couldn't read the blackboard properly. So off to the optometrist with me LOL! So I lost my vision, or have been gradually losing it I guess, for 10 years (I'm 25 in october). What about you?? When I first got mine, I was amazed at how everything was crystal clear to me!! Regular lights and shiny metal objects (like trophies) seemed amazing to me!! When did you first lose your vision? | | Becks wrote: | | Nah, having to take them out isn't a big deal, I just took what was prescribed to me haha! I'm the same, it feels so bizarre being able to see without wearing glasses! When I first got my contacts, I seriously almost cried cos it was the first time in years I could see without glasses. | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Darn it!! I have to take mine off before I go to bed. Ah, well...not a big deal for me.
I wear my contact lenses about...hmmm... 40% of the time. In those few times I do wear them, I feel like touching the part of my face that my glasses would normally occupy just to make sure I'm not hallucinating! Plus I have those moments when I feel like running my finger up the bridge of my nose to push up an invisible pair of glasses!
See ya later, Guido!! Viel Glueck (good luck)!! | | Becks wrote: | | There are quite a few types which are designed to be able to sleep with them in, so nah, not bad with the ones I've got | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | You sleep with contacts on?? I heard that's bad for your eyes!! (Quoting Message by Becks from Thursday, April 23, 2009 8:23:51 PM)

Awesome Guido I use contacts 99% of the time, with mine each pair lasts two weeks, but I sleep with them in and have 1 rest day a week where I wear my glasses. Only thing I hate with contacts is when you get a bit of dust or a tiny hair on the inside of them, big OUCH! lol. Doesn't happen often though, most of the time you don't realise you're wearing them.
