That's why I don't spend too much time on it! And plus, except for Priest, I'm not a celebrity worshiper! LOL [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Friday, April 24, 2009 11:05:25 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | Nah she was English, she just assumed the title of Princess of Wales when she married Charles. The whole royal title thing is very confusing, LOL! | | spapad wrote: | | I know Princess Di was Princess of Wales, but was she Welsh? | | Becks wrote: | | Wales is it's own country but I think their parliament is the English one so yeah LOL! Another place England took over and never really gave it back I think. Welsh is a crazy language too, pronounced entirely different to how it's written LOL! | | spapad wrote: | | You see I don't mention Welsh because it's a part of England and no one ever know's what I'm talking about, but yeh that's in the pile too. | | Becks wrote: | | LOL mine is fairly easy to trace cos NZ is a very young country - I'm only 2nd generation NZ on mums side cos nana and grandad are English. Dad's side is easy too. In total I'm mostly English, Scottish and Welsh. My nana reckons there's some Spanish in there too but who knows cos she reckons it's from the Spanish Armada, which was at the time of Elizabeth I, LOL! | | spapad wrote: | | lets see if I can list them all. My background is French, English, some Irish, Cherokee, and now my daughter get's to add Greek to that pile! LOL | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Mmmm...Heinz ketchup!!
I know my great-grandma was Native American, and great-grandpa was from Spain...and the rest of the family geneology is lost. | | spapad wrote: | | He's like me, HA!! Hienz 57 Variety! LOL | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, Guido's running tomorrow. He better get back in one piece....and with pics!
Don't worry...he'll be fine, being the metalhead Mexican/Polish/Dutch that he is. | | spapad wrote: | | Is Guid running tomorrow? I forgot! He better not mess himself up, he's got pictures to take! LOL no seriously, I wish him luck. | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Old School or New School?
| | paorcamp wrote: | | yes...I want one that even those who don't know priest would be able to say " so...that's Judas Priest!!!" | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Are you looking for a JP pic? I've got lots of 'em. | | paorcamp wrote: | | that's great....BRAVIIISSIIMMOOO!!!
gee...I'm trying to find the perfect picture (or image) to show on my msn ....but I think that's gonna take long.... | | spapad wrote: | | I really think they are out to set a record for touring, literally the world! To Take Metal Everywhere legally allowed! Bravo!! | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Yup...it's cool that they play in places they couldn't get to the last time. Just shows how committed they are to the fans. | | spapad wrote: | | God, I hope they do get there! I know Becks would love to see them! Alas they are just one band and just have so many days in a year.
Even my friend Vucklucka got to see them this last european tour. They did not come to his country but close enough he got there, and saw a few more heavy hitters in just a handful of time! I was very glad for him. He was so upset when Glenn got sick and they had to cancel, but I told him they would make it up and they did. | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Heck yes!! And after making their South American tour, they can concentrate on getting to New Zealand!! | | spapad wrote: | | Ya know, If I were a member of Priest, I would want to take a stop in Costa Rica! Maybe even take a little break for a couple days! | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | JP usually plan out the Latin-American tour right after the US tour, so maybe they'll make a stop in Costa Rica. You never know. | | paorcamp wrote: | | I hope so...it's not common to see that an important band decides to come here...slayer did and I was too young so I couldn't go (it was +16) then sodom came but I had no money because I was saving to see Maiden....then maiden came twice (I still wonder why,but I'm so happy they did it)...and some other bands not as popular as these....we thought maiden would open a door for other important bands to come but it's gonna take time | | spapad wrote: | | I hope Priest comes to your part of the world Paor! Would be a shame not to since they have been about everywhere!
Vail, I so forgot to wish you Congratulations on your excellent seats! Smack me silly! You'll have a great time! | | paorcamp wrote: | | I'm great...I think everything's just fine here...I'm very happy to know you're gonna see priest!!! I wish I could, and I hope you enjoy it (I know you will)
