HAA! I actually got kicked out by a little girl at that show for jumping seats. I was in row 11, had given a free tix to some lucky soul in the parking lot meaning that he was sitting next to us. Damn guy wouldn't shut the hell up!
All the unused industry seats were pissing me off and this guy blabbing in my ear got me and my little brother jumping to get as close as possible. After the third time being caught, we were ushered out. No biggie as it was Living After Midnight. Throwaway song to an old Priest fanatic like me. Still funny, though. This little girl had such a stranglehold (baby) on my wrist like I was going to run or something. Very funny scene. The ski hill is still called Pine Knob, so you wouldn't have to worry about calling it DTE, whew... Mt. Trashmore ! We saw Priest at DTE with Queensryche too. We were way too far away though. I thought Queensryche sounded really bad that day. I'd seen them twice before, and they were much better. We are going to see Queensryche again next week in Grand Rapids at a club called the Intersection - should be a good show. But NO ONE is as good as Priest live!!

Nope. I now live in Tennessee (thus my tagline. HAA!).
Last year, I went to the Meet and Greet with fellow JP.com member, guitardude. We saw them in Dallas. What a blast! Row 2 on Glenn's side.
I did see them at PINE KNOB when they played with Queensryche (why do they still have the Pine Knob beer store across the street if they now feel like calling it the DTE?! I mean, I am a huge skiier. They call THAT DTE too? I can't imagine saying "let's go do some night skiing at the DTE!" LOL!! I'd sooner go to Holly or even Mt. Trashmore! HAAAAA! HI!
It will always be Pine Knob to me as well! I'll be the girl in the second row in front of KK, singing/screaming her butt off along with every song! Did you go to the DTE meet and greet? Maybe we met there??
Thanks for the welcome!

Another Michigander!
Welcome! 40 years old and probably seeing Priest three times myself this summer. Detroit / (screw that DTE moniker...PINE KNOB!!!) might just be one of the venues as I'll be coming back from the Toronto show and stopping at Mom's in Grosse Pointe.

I guess great minds think alike!
Thanks for the heads up too, I appreciate it! And don't worry, no offense taken. Metal Goddess is the name of my character on rock band 2 because I sing and I try to "channel" Rob!
