Becks, I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to cars. I know much more than alot of males know these days. Even know how to change back drum brakes were I ever so inclined, but I can smell bullshit a mile away from a mechanic. Drifted my old Thunderbird into the station wih 200,000 miles on it. Knew the head had blown. Still, got it to my mechanic I trust and got the whole thing resolved for 300.00, which is excellent considering the work involved. Shame I had to get rid of it a year later because the rods were starting to ping at high RPMs, whould not last much longer, the sound of death. R.I.P. Thunderbird, the most comfortable car I ever owned. Got a Honda now and while great, it's just not my bird! LOL | | Becks wrote: | | I agree with Spa, Paor. Sending hugs your way too, sounds like you're having a very hard time of it! I would definitely get a second opinion on the car, mind you I am always very wary of mechanics cos I know nothing about cars, but am well aware that they can be very extortionate with repair prices, and even tell lies about what's needed in general. Obviously that doesn't go for every mechanic (the majority are ok) but like I said, cos I know nothing about cars I am very wary LOL!
Hope everything gets better soon | | spapad wrote: | | Your just having a bad day. What is wrong with the car? Is it computer oriented? or something else. If someone tells you computer, take it to someplace else to get a second opinion.
That would suck to have your test times changed. Can they do that? That seems wrong.
Will as always keep you in my thoughts dear friend. Hope the pressure eases up on you soon. ((((((((((((((((((((((((((( ))))))))))))))))))))))) Big Hug. |
