To start with I must say that Luongo is gonna catch hell for his performance last night, but it's not justified, he didn't get a lot of help and he was really good in the first period...bad penalties and bad defense had more to do with it than anything...IMO he is one of the best goalies in the game and has been for the better part of a decade...4 of 5 with a man advantage was the (I think) the story of the game last night...Vancouver has some decisions to make this off season regarding FA's, and although their season has come to an end, they've got nothing to be ashamed of!!!
From a fan's point of view, it was a great game to watch...I would have been disappointed if the Hawks had lost, but it was fun none the less...what a 3rd period, one of the best I've seen, although the Washington/Pitt game was probably one of the best games this entire post season!!!
These next 2 days are have 3 game 7's...the ride is just getting good!!!
PS...last night's game tallied the 1,006,920th fan in the turnstiles for the Hawks at home this year!!!
