HOLY F*CK I am SOOOO angry and upset!
Craigs boss has talked to him - he is seeking legal advice to charge him. Which could mean a massive fine and a demotion (due to it being an operational charge). The thing is, NO ONE communicated to us the decision for him to come back with the rest of the Afghanistan guys, his CSM (highest ranked soldier at his unit) told me 'He is coming home with the rest of CRIB'. NO ONE told us ANYTHING, now his OC wants to charge him for it?!?!?! I am so beyond angry, I want to tear his boss a new ar$ehole. I'm going to write up the beginnings of a formal statement as to what happened at this end, but I said to Craig - if it goes through and you get demoted, leave the army. In the 'real' world, it's be his boss getting in sh*t for not communicating what was happening! Plus Craig has emails stating 'you are going over in support of CRIB' NOT in support of this other group his boss is trying to say he was helping.
