Eddie called it that Las Vegas sound, im not really sure how to explain it fully, but it was that fun, exciting jump around sound. Sammy hagar's albums were it seemed just more laid back. Not as exciting, David lee roth threw the element of unpredictablity in there, alot more original, IMO. Please explain your statement. How did Roth make up the original Van Halen sound?

Damn straight!!! Nobody sounds like david lee roth, no one. He has an original voice, I can tell you everytime i hear him singing i can tell its him. Hagar i have to listen for a minute, or maybe even 2, he sounds alot like other singers. Roth has that squeal, that sound, thats completly his own.
