LOL, I think mine quit growing as the last beautician, (as they actually gave her license to do this) butchered my hair and now I'm just trying to grow out the mess she created! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by pip from Saturday, June 20, 2009 11:08:43 AM)

I had long hair as a kid--my mom used to braid it &OMG the pigtails !!!
now it's just below my shoulders & it's a lot thicker than when I was a kid---it doesn't grow as fast as when I was younger

I had my hair that long many occasions in my life but I have very fine hair and probably not much a wig maker could do with it.

Yes Spapad...it's the little things in life that make someone else so happy that makes it all worth while!! My daughter gets the credit for doing it first then getting me on board with it. My father has had several bouts with cancer over the years so I'm familiar with the toll treatments can have on a person...it was a no-brainer, really!!

That's cool you cut it all off for Locks of Love! Very Cool indeed.

It's just a normal haircut now...it took literally years to get it that long...then it looks like a perm when it's dry. My daughter would come over with her flat iron for those special occasions and my hair was literally down to the small of my back. I always kept in a ponytail as it would be all over the place. That pic was about 1/2 an hour after waking up, soooo.....color it red and call me bozo (or the white samoan!!!)

Wow, you really had some serious hair! How long is it now?

I'll keep trying...for those that can't wait, just go to my myspace link...
