It was not an "inferrence" on spa's part. To "infer", one would be required ( by definition) to derive a conclusion based on fact or premise. Perhaps she was "insinuating" yet even that would be less substantially founded, given that her comment was meant as jest in reference to what her state of mind might have been, were you to be "brought along".

I should think that she was suggesting. Having said this, I am not too sure that fecal matter and audible humor-reaction are to be expected simply by virtue of your presence.............
