I know Freeze,but I am forced to manually "sandblast" in a cabinet....I used to shotpeen but there is no work in my original area...the problem with sandblasting is that my left hand thumb joint has "degenerative arthritis".
So I have to pick and sort out jobs that I actually can sandblast without gripping in the palm of my hand causing my left thumb joint to be agrivated! Its a BITCH! I can play my guitar fine because my thumb is not gripping inwards enough for that long to cause trama,but holding something in the plam of my hand gripping it for extended periods of time I can not do anymore. I used to sandblast for 6 straight years and then went to shotpeen as a manual operater just like sandblast for another almost 8 years or so before I was a level 1 operator on the wheelabrator machine,where I had been for the last 6 years or so........there...I didn't have to use my left hand so much and now I have to be careful.
As soon as I can possibly find another job,I'm out of there. And besides all of that,the "managers" are greedy self centered assholes. The place where I work used to be so much better. I am just so fucking sick of it.
