Well, I hadn't seen Borat, but from what I've heard it was funny. Seeing the previews, I had an idea of the theme of Bruno, but what you see in the ads is nothing compared to the content in the movie as a whole...
As I can usually find humor in most anything I figured I could handle Bruno...and I did...barely. I spent a good portion of the movie slumped in my seat with my hand partially covering my eyes!!!
There was a guy sitting in front of me (with 2 ladies), and all I heard from him throughout the movie was 'Oh my God', No F******g way', 'Not again'...so you get the idea!!! lol
Yes, it was funny and yes, I laughed my butt off at a lot of it...but some of it was a little visually unsettling for me...what that means, I don't know, but I will say that if someone is debating on checking this movie out and your in the least bit a homophobe, don't watch it!!! But if you can take it for what it is and enjoy humor on the raunchy side, then you might find this movie somewhat entertaing.
I wish I would have waited for the DVD so I could skip certain scenes... [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by _strat_ from Monday, July 13, 2009 5:03:40 AM)

Ugh... Well, I think I pretty much know what point Cohen is trying to get accros here, and thats fine... He should just try to make it more... Funny. IDK, I havent watched the whole film yet, but from the excerpts and TV appearances that Ive seen, it isnt very good...

Bruno...It was not quite what I expected, but probably should have...laughed (somewhat uncomfortably) throughout the movie!! 3 0f 5 stars
