Thanks Spapad- no I don't mind comments at all! I took art for many years at school but I don't really feel I learnt much about drawing, certainly not drawing people. (The teachers tended to ignore me as long as I kept to deadlines, or in one case, held me up as an example of how not to draw.) Most of what I know is either from books or what I've found out myself in drawing in the years since I dropped art as a subject- its much more enjoyable as a hobby!
