Interesting thing about stage presence. I am not sure how many of you saw the interview with Bruce Dickenson some time ago where he discussed that? He said (quite accurately) that when you are on stage you MUST be "larger than life". You need to over-exaggerate your movements and "blow yourself up" so that the people WAY in the back can see you too.
There is a lot to that statement. SO many people think the movement on stage is just "bouncing around" and whatnot but there is a method to the madness. If you look at some of the stage shots from the Priest shows you will even see markers taped on the stage floor. ...spots where the guys are supposed to stand. All designed to make the "look", set up picture shots..designate center stage, etc. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Bev from Friday, August 07, 2009 6:47:04 AM)

Stage presence makes all the difference - Ripper has a great voice,he's cagy, youthful, agressive, energetic; whereas, Scheepers is more in the Godlike image, confident, larger than life, etc.
At the end of the day ... Anyone who tried would simply be a substitute ... NO ONE will ever, could EVER actually replace the MetalGod! No matter how hard they try ... It's just not the same.
