I just don't think that Whitesnake are a good band for opening up a heavy metal show....I just don't "get it". Yeah they can play..ect...and I'm not saying that they don't
put on a good show or anything like that,....but really guys..."whitesnake" at a Judas Priest concert? This is nothing "new"as this has always been like this..........
I remember "Greate White" opening up for the Defenders Of The Faith tour...."Greate White"? Yuk. So it goes to show...this has always been the case.
You would think after 30 years in the buisness...they would LEARN to assemble a freaking REAL HEAVY METAL tour! They had it right at least when
they had Judas Priest,Heaven & Hell,Motorhead and Testament....thats the way it :should be". But Popevil? What the fuck kinda bullshit are they throwing
at us here for christ's sake? Popevil? HAHAHA!! That band is sooo "LAME" it makes my stomach turn! YUK! Thats what he did over here (seen them here about two years ago, and they rocked). And they did the guitar duel too. Pretty long, but I thought that it was great. The only objection I had is for Coverdale. He went from sounding like a man and looking like an old lady to sounding and looking like an old lady. | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | We missed Popevil in Detroit as well but as far as Whitesnake, I agree that their set was GREAT, however, the "dueling guitar" bit was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long!!! I mean, yeah we GET it..you can play guitar!! Cool. Now get on with it! It was WAY overdone, in my opinion. |
