From what i've heard.. alot of venues in the US have seating all the way to the stage..... Talking to a few people about gigs they ask me what row i'm in
..there are no rows here, only sections...... standing front, seating gold and silver... depending on the venue... if it's general entry it means first in best
standing.... I like the way it works here... just push and shove if you get there late and you can get pretty close... no bloody seats to hinder you.
I remember festival seating and do prefer it! I know how to get to the front and have always been up front at festival seating shows!
