That sucks. I didn't get much luck, either. Got outside at around 12:15 a.m. and went to the darkest place I can find. The moon and the haze from nearby wildfires made it difficult to see anything to the East. Had to go back home at around 12:45 since I had to get up early for work.
The meteor shower will happen again tonight. I'll give it one more chance to impress me. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Wednesday, August 12, 2009 1:39:50 AM)

Ok, end of the second and final time at 1:40am. The moon is really bright and I saw a firefly that got me all animated for a minute. That count?
I am now going to have to stare at the floor for an hour to get my spine back into shape.
