It gets really freaky when raccoons climb the house and get onto the roof. About the crims., best part is that I am outside the city limits. As such, I can shoot on sight! Too bad I don't own nor have I ever shot a gun....oh well, they don't know that! Surrounded by trees? I'd get freaked out haha, I have an over active imagination so I'd see people sneaking in the shadows of the trees all the time haha. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Well, you should see my house. It is completely cut off surrounded by trees. I, literally, LIVE in a forest. Bushes all around. I was thinking of bringing Calvin back out but, were they criminals, he would only pose the danger of licking them into submission. The rat terrier would pose more of a threat. At least SHE barks at danger. | | Becks wrote: | | Hmmm, that's pretty weird Guid, if it happened to me I would have run and hid behind a bush LOL! | | guidogodoy wrote: | | No but I do think (hope) that someone called the police! HAAAA!!! Like I said, I walked all the way down the drive in my pjs / shorts with a flashlight and even somewhat up the road so I could get a better look at the sky in all directions. About the time Calvin started his "let me in bark" (he was stuck back at the house because of the electric fence) and I made my way back up the drive, a car came pulling around slowly into a cul-de-sac behind my house where there is only one house. Hmm...odd as it was after 1am. Stayed there for a few minutes then pulled around to another closed subdivision to the side of me, pulled with their headlights facing my house for a few minutes and then slowly pulled away.
Couldn't see the car but I HOPE it was the police looking for some lunatic walking around with a flashlight in his jammies! LOL! | | spapad wrote: | | Yes of course, would'nt want to burn your eyes out! nor sponatanously combust! You didn't get a Moon burn last night did you?

It doesn't hurt it to cut pieces off of it. They grow back just fine, and yes a bottle of gel kept in the fridge would be easier but I seldom burn so I don't really need that much.

HAAAA!!!! Don't tell me that you'd destroy your only living plant in such a case. Wouldn't it just be easier to buy some aloe vera lotion?

Alot of people have an aloe plant as a house plant. They are great for people like me who forget to water their plants.

While fine advice, just where the heck is he supposed to find an aloe vera plant? The mall? LOL!!!

Awesome!! Glad to hear that, Necro. If Marc has any remaining bruises, just look for some aloe vera plants, cut off the leaves, remove the skin, and place the pieces gooey side down onto the bruised area. The bruise will be gone the next day.
