But look at his sketches, he was a master at sketching. Most of his works probably took no longer than 15 minutes when he was sketching, as is proper. It will amaze you how much volume and emotion he could evoke in such a short time.
Aggressive crosshatching, sometimes only lines to delinate shade and texture. A Must see for any aspiring aritist.
