OK. Just finished cleaning the CD with soap, dried it up, and gave the first track a spin. All I gotta say is: no more skipping!! Looks like all it needed was a good cleaning. Thanks, Spapad!!!!
Now, off to Dokken-land I go. I'll be back. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by spapad from Sunday, August 23, 2009 5:38:11 PM)

Use soap, huh? Do I dry it off with a piece of cloth or a paper towel?

Do what I do, pour a dab of soap on it wash it around and rinse it. They usually play quite right after that.

Does anyone know how to repair a scratched CD? Yesterday I bought my Dokken CD (it was a "used" CD), and it has a couple of scratches on the side where the laser "reads" the disc. Caused "Unchain the Night" to skip several times earlier today as I was listening to it.
