I remember asking about working 4 - 10's years ago. manager said was against union regs. asked union, they said fine. sent in a proposed amendment to CBA. asked manager, said he couldnt see how the schedule would work. asked again. he told me and another supervisor to write a shift bid that covered all the shifts with a few 4-10's on it. we came back 20 min later, awesome schedule, and coincidentaly all the lead hand shifts were 4-10's. now, its 5 10's pluss the weekends.
