That's sad Hellrider. I have heard about puppy mills, they sound disgusting! When we adopted our dog, he was about 5 months old, and if you went to tell him off for misbehaving he'd cower and piss himself without you even touching him so we think he was beaten. He's happy as larry now though, an incredibly affectionate and happy dog.

i fell actactly the same as you Becks and YES with a passion.we just rescued a dog like a month ago from this sos recue place that recues dogs from quebec and brings them to people wanting to adopt them in ontario.shes the one that had the lamp shade.lol.anyways her nipples are really swollen her front claws were worn right down(she must have been at a puppy mill)i was told she was 2 but vet thinks she is about 5 because i had to get a couple of her teeth removed and she does not know how to go up or down stairs and everytime you go near her she runs away. the reason for the cruelity with our new dog in my opinion was a sorce of income for the pervious owner

so we think he was beaten. He's happy as larry now though, an incredibly affectionate and happy dog.
