Hellrider - yep, the green pumpkins you see at the grocery store here are typically smaller than your average pumpkin LOL!
Vail - green pumpkins we get look a bit like this, often with patches of orange.
You get green pumpkins in NZ?? Man! I've never seen a green pumpkin before. Maybe green squash, but not a green pumpkin!

Check it out!! It's not as widely used as the orange one for Halloween, so it's only present in a small amount of pumpkin patches.

Yeah. It probably just needed more time to grow and turn orange. Would have been a cool sight to see, though.
The white pumpkins are cool, too. Have you seen those suckers?

hey Vaillant yeah i dont think it was ripe yet.it was a little bit bigger than half the size of a normal pumpkin.yeah i remember doing something with it .i think i made a jack-o-lantern with it cant remember for sure going back more than 20 years ago lol.all i remember for sure is it was green on halloween.i guess you need to plant them at a certain time for them to be ripe for halloween.

That's pretty odd. Maybe it wasn't ripe when you picked it out from the garden.
Did you make it into a Jack-o-Lantern?
