I dunno, but this just sounds like a larger version of what goes down on Saturday nights at the Ruby Lounge (a Rock/pole-dancing club in Manchester). And I have to disagree that Geoff has lost it in recent years- their last album may not be classic but it was a solid effort, and their 2008 UK tour worked well with the onstage actors etc. It may not be 'traditionally' metal, but who says it has to be- this band covered Andrew Lloyd Webber (and did it well), and Operation Mindcrime is in the process of being made into a musical. After that, this isn't such a big step away.
