Well, you never know. The next big opportunity might occur when you least expect it. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Wednesday, October 14, 2009 10:10:17 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | Thanks!
LOL the first few weeks back are always hectic I reckon. Work wise for me, average. I've been in a low bullshit tolerance mood lately, so some of the inane stuff that goes on in the exciting world of cheese eating gets up my nose LOL! Still looking for something better, which is bound to happen at some point! LOL! (Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Wednesday, October 14, 2009 10:07:36 PM)

And so far you've been doing a great job!!
School's been ridiculously busy!! Finally got enough homework done to take a break and chat here!!! Whew!!!!!! How are you doing work-wise?

Yeah, I don't really mind if it's not exact, so long as I do the song justice lol.
Anyways, how's the first couple of weeks back at school been for you?

Yeah, sometimes the drums and the bass sound like one unit. Add the sound effects and the guitars and it gets more difficult to tell one from the other. Don't worry, you'll do fine.

LMAO!!!!! Hilarious
Hopefully I can get this song sorted ok. It's a little confusing cos a couple of quick bass guitar notes follow on straight from a bass drum note, so discerning those is a pain.

Good luck with getting the other crash cymbal. After you get it, look for a cowbell, so that you can play JP's Cheater. HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am being so lazy drumming wise today LMAO!!! I'm going to go do a quick muck around on the song shortly, I just play what I hear and put it together LOL. I'm also wanting to save my money to get a second crazh cymbal - that way I can start playing some other songs like Electric Eye. I have a ride but it doesn't sound right for that purpose LOL.

How's it going with the drumming? Have you started on Solar Angels yet?

I think it's the next most common behind my blood type. Good on you for being a donor too! One wee bag of blood can save 3 lives!

Heck, even better!!! I've donated three times. The Uni holds a blood drive once every quarter, and the donors get snacks (usually crackers, fruit, and juice) and a free shirt. Come to think of it, they haven't announced the dates for this quarter. Pretty strange...
I have A-positive blood, which I believe is pretty common as well.

Thanks Vail! It was my 4th donation, they like my blood LOL. I'm O+, so I'm a universal donor, anyone can take my blood, yay! Yep I got a hot chocolate and biscuits, yum, lol.

You donated blood?!? YES!!!!!!! Congrats, Becks!! Your blood is about to save lives!!!
Did you get any free stuff? Free snacks, at least?

Hello again! LOL! I'm home from donating blood and work, it's pissing down outside, stupid weather.
I have decided the next song I am going to learn and record is Solar Angels - not a difficult or hugely exciting song, but it's one of my faves off Point of Entry |
