Open question here. I have been adjusting my Jackson for lower action and have the strings at 2.5mm between the 12th and 13th frets. With the Jumbo frets that Jackson uses this puts them right on the deck with just a hint of buzz. This still seems high to me and is driving me crazy. I`m thinking that with the height of these frets, maybe I should just get used to it. OR... should I look into a fret leveling job and bring them down a bit??? been checking prices and wow is that pricey. The local shop that has done lot`s of work in the past for me, the owner retired and closed up. So now this has forced me to look elsewhere.
So should I just get used to it? Or look into getting the work done?
