Just for once though J.D i would like the topic of conversation to change. Going on and on about Nostradamus won't change anything it's done and dusted now and as for Winter songs, i won't be expressing my view on it in this forum anymore as i feel i have done it enough. If we could get back into the spirit (no pun intended lol) of Defending the Faith then that would be great. Hellrider and a few others (including myself) are the only ones doing that right now whereas others might aswell be saying, 'the next album Priest release will be shit', that doesn't sound like the optimism or comment of Priest fans that i know. I'm actually growing tired of seeing their 'loyal fans' turn against them in their most difficult time cause soon all classic metal bands will be finished (lets be honest). Fair enough you don't like the new music you've expressed your point and that's fine but going on and on isn't going to make things better. Can we not get back to looking to the future and being optimistic that Priest will release some good old British Steel yet again hmmm? Am i asking too much everyone? Am i the only one who thinks this way or what? I love this band and i don't want to see their fans tear them apart.
(I know you're a frustrated metalhead J.D lol so don't take this as a personal attack cause it isn't)
The reason why people are "going on and on about Nostradamus" is because Judas Priest is not "consistant" at releasing traditional metal albums, they are metal band that experiments new things. The problem is,that 90% of thier fans want a british styled traditional "NORMAL" heavy metal album from Judas Priest every time they release an album. This is not the case with JP as you know.
They may have not released a string of conceptual metal albums, but as bad and as long Nostradamus is,they might as well have!!! LOL!! And since a christmas release has been on the cards for many solo singers of all genres,I think Rob should of left it to the other genres because a "metal christmas" is "weak and ridiculous". If the next Priest album is "weak and ridiculous" then I'm blaming " JT_Small_Deadly_Space"!!! LOL JT!!!!!!! HAHA "RANT ON"! LOL!

Why are people going on and on about Nostradamus for? It's in the past. And this isn't a Priest effort, Priest and Halford are completely different. A Christmas release has been on the cards for many solo singers of all genres Jazz, Rock, Swing, Pop. Now it's metals turn. Look to the future and have faith rather than going on and on about Nostradamus. It's one album its not like they've released a string of conceptual metal albums.
