Yeah its an excellent album.This album is what started "heavy metal" as The Kinks,Jimmy Hendrix and Blue Cheer were nowhere near doomsday laden material as Sabbath and thier sound along and image,very dark and evil even with thier blues mixed with heavy riffs. On the dvd of Angel Of Retribution K.K. said somebody told him that Sabbath were heavy and Priest were Metal.That makes sense. But ignorant is the individual who denys the importance of the first Black Sabbath album within the realm of heavy metal. If you had to narrow it down to one album it would have to be Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath ( 1970 ). The first one, the one that started it all 40 years ago. It's legacy makes it the greatest.
