I agree with you Steve,Tool is a very overrated band to me,maybe not to someone like jimmy james,but yes just an opinion of mine as well,I actually can't fucking stand Tool and I've heard just about everything from them.I had an x-roommate that had everything they put out and I unfortuately heard some of it!! lol!! I can't take thier weird shit either,too progressive but thats not why I don't like them,theres nothing that goes along with the progressive nature,its just all cyber aged technical bullshit in my eyes.I'm so sick of all of this technical crap,not only by established artists but even somebody's band I hear these days (except for a few)....I'm waiting for an oldschool rock or metal riff and it all comes out like "Tool" somehow!! lol!!! Fuck that,whatever happened to oldschool riffs man??? lol!!! When I get my shit together thats all I'm crankin' out is oldschool fucking riffs!!!!!!!
