Exactly! What the fuck happened to metal? What happened to Running Wild? or Bloodlust? or Sacred Reich? And where the fuck did Converge come from? God Damn it! I've been a metal fan since I was 6! It all started with Ted Nugent's Weekend Warriors album. After the turn of the century (actually, maybe a few years before), metal took a nosedive. Yes. They are not "DEATH METAL" at all. They are a bunch of OZZ FEST posers that claim to play death metal and the shit band Dimmu Borgir claims to play black metal,they came out in 96' in Norway as a trend band and have been ever since,they are NOT like the old black metal bands of Norway at all. I don't mind some new cds by old bands (Grave Digger, Helloween, Voivod for example), but FUCK all these newer bands that are on every cover of every metal magazine! |
