Well, I do hope you are right my friend. I would love to hear something more "classic" on the next album. I am one of those that have said openly that Rob does not hit "those notes" anymore. I think it is important to qualify that statement by saying that he is not hitting the same notes he did MANY years ago at the same pitch. He is a 60 year old man. Yes, he IS the Metal God and can do things most human beings cannot, but he IS human. He can still do things that are just incredible. I admit that. When I say he "cannot hit those notes", it is not a rap against him at all. It is just a statement of fact. One need only listen to Painkiller live today to understand what I mean.
WHEN.I THINK ABOUT THE NEXT PRIEST ALBUM AND THE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT SAID THE METAL GOD CAN NOT HIT THOSE NOTES ANYMORE GETTING THEY FACES RIPED OFF WITH HIS VOLCALS.lol,lol.I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS.
