I certainly have to agree with this, i thought i was a die hard fan until i came across hellrider. Always keeping the metal spirit alive that's what we need! You know one of the biggest rushes in the world was when i was on myspace looking through the band spaces and i came across Priests and i saw they had a totally new track online, what's this? Nostradamus? First of all after picking myself up off the floor from sheer disbelief i listened with eager intent and my God i was impressed i almost died when the main riff came in with Scott's double bass and Halfords Godly scream. That is what listening to the Priest is all about and if they can even write 3 tracks like that on the new album that invoke that reaction in me then i will be happy.
I know they can do it, Hellrider knows they can do it, J.D knows but is finding it hard and i guess i can see that too. I'm holding out that they can do it and i can't wait for when they decide to. Right now i'm fed up that there hasn't been any proper news on the band in months they can't just be doing nothing! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hellrider,I know that Jackylone is a big Judas Priest fan and especially a Nostradamus fan and because of his publicity stunt in listening to this album every day for who knows how long and I'm not taking anything away from him and I'm not saying that he isn't a huge Judas Priest fan,but I must say after being here for 5 years, and of course throughout my entire life I have never seen a radical over the top Judas Priest fan such as you man, this band holds a special place in most of us here...Judas Priest has been my favorite band since 1981 when I was 11 and ever since then till now I have said the same when ever somebody asks me who my favorite band is,it has been the same answer since 1981(29 years)now, but you still are the NUMBER #1 Judas Priest fan IN THE WORLD!!! I personally think that this is kick ass!!! You fuckin rock hellrider!!!

Well,if the next LP is going to be heavy I just can't fathom the album sounding as strong and as heavy as "Painkiller". Even if they went in the studio trying to create an album as strong as Painkiller I still don't think it would turn out as heavy, not because of lack of effort but because they are older now. But we all have to understand that they are now pushing 60 years old and not pushing 40. Thats what I'm afraid of....I can see this band churning out total heavy metal and a total heavy album and hearing members complaining that its not as good as Painkiller not because of the quality of songs but because of the heaviness of the album.
Even though it was the bands intention to create Angel Of Retribution in the same vien as Screaming For Vengeance and Defenders Of The Faith, still many fans were complaining that it wasn't as heavy as Painkiller ect.... But what they missed out on is that it wasn't supposed to be as heavy as Painkiller. Even if on the next album every track was equal to "Demonizer"....I can still hear fans complaining that its not another Painkiller...I sure hope not. If the next LP turned out like Angel Of Retribution I will be more than satisfied.
