I would agree with you, Angel. And it is not that Rob is a "has-been" or anything like that. We ALL age, my friends. MANY things happen to our bodies and we are simply unable to do some of the things that we did as youngsters. Rob Halford is incredible. He can still do things that MANY vocalists HALF his age cannot. There is not a doubt in my mind that he still "brings it", night after night. I would hazard a guess that we'll never hear that verse live that he sings way up in the stratosphere in Dreamer Deceiver. "We are lost above, floating way up high. If you think you can find a way. You can surely try." That's one of my Top 5 Priest faves!

Well, I do hope you are right my friend. I would love to hear something more "classic" on the next album. I am one of those that have said openly that Rob does not hit "those notes" anymore. I think it is important to qualify that statement by saying that he is not hitting the same notes he did MANY years ago at the same pitch. He is a 60 year old man. Yes, he IS the Metal God and can do things most human beings cannot, but he IS human. He can still do things that are just incredible. I admit that. When I say he "cannot hit those notes", it is not a rap against him at all. It is just a statement of fact. One need only listen to Painkiller live today to understand what I mean.
