AMERICAN IDOL!! That is what PISSES me off today!! Now then, I understand that the show went LAME a LOOOOOONG time ago but anyone that sees it now will understand why Cowell is bolting...and it AINT to "pursue other interests"..!!!
This show is HORRIBLE. It is not really a "singing" competition, I get that. If it were, the PUBLIC would NOT be involved in ANY way since they, by and large, have NO idea what real talent is but what is worse now is that they are bringing in these Hollywood HACKS as "guest judges". I mean, a "Spice girl"??? REALLY??? And the final straw is Ellen Degeneres!!! OH MY FREAKIN GOD!!! A marginally talented, unfunny, CLUELESS, homely lesbian... TASTY PICK, BONEHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!
As if this show had not lost enough credibility already, they do this??? At least with "Paula" we had the joy of watching her drift through one drug-induced haze after another...Oh, the colors! The colors!! I mean, Ellen Degeneres??!?!?!? Hundreds of thousands of bored housewives across the US will be pleased, I suppose. Perhaps a few folks from the "Rainbow Coalition" (bless their hearts) as well but, I mean..PLEASE!!! You cannnot tell me that there wasn't at least ONE credible music industry person available....Maybe a secretary or other phone personnel?? ANYONE that may have at least had CONTACT with real talent!!
I refuse to watch this show when they get to the actual "contest" part. I offered to compromise with the Princess and watch with her if I were allowed to MUTE the television everytime Felon Degenerate speaks but that was a no-go. Guess I will be spending my Tuesday nights here with you!!
