Pff!! I cannot think of any ONE way to go about making an entrance. I suppose just watch and learn. I know many members spent weeks or even months just reading before they ever made their first post! You cannot really go wrong when you just try to be pleasant.
If you go to a party where do not know know anyone, you would certainly be inclined to measure your comments, right? Same thing here. I think you are doing just fine, man.
