Ah !! Look, you are not treading on thin ice or anything like that. You will find that religion is a very well-discussed subject here and there is no "right" answer, as far as I am concerned. We have had a few Threads on the subject but they either died or were removed by Murray.
I am not a big fan of "god" or any of that, either. Nothing to worry about, man. Speak your mind. As with anything in life, it is HOW you say things more than WHAT you are saying. I try to be respectful of other's opinions and not "mock" them but it is rather difficult when talking about this particular subject. I think you will be fine! to have an open mind. Some books try to explain religion or expose it's falsehoods and I sometimes
will read one. I was hoping the books he was referring to were like that.
