Yeh man, things were bad enough and it seems the older I get, the more painful things hurt lol | | spapad wrote: | | HA!!! That has to be that stupid "Give me back that filet o' fish, give me that fish.........What if it were you hanging up on this wall"
Yeah, I kinda know the feeling. lol
About the test, I was pissed. All that studying for something I could have passed if I had just took it the same day. I even asked the lady why I got a test that had nothing to do with driving. She said the tests are randomly generated by the computer and you never know what test you will get. Sounds dumb to me. | | ron h wrote: | | HEEEELLLLLRRRRIIIIIDDDDDEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! How ya doin' buddy?? lol Once I found out I was susp., I never again got behind the wheel, no sense making a bad situation worse, ya know what I mean?
HB, I need something a little more on the route between here and CC, if you know what I mean...I have confidence in you!! : )
Awe man Spa, mine was like right out of the book!! I was actually sweating it lol I did get upset when they wouldn't tell me which question I missed. If it would have been 3 or 4 wrong, I wouldn't have cared much...but only 1? It's been driving me nuts (just like the filet o fish song!!! lol) lol!! | | spapad wrote: | | Wow, that totally sucks Ron! What a raw deal! At least it's all behind you now! I had to retake the driving test written part when I moved to NC. It studied the whole book, especially all the signs, and when I went in to take the test it was all questions about alcohol! About drunk driving, buy alcohol for minors etc... Every bit of it simple common sense. I couldn't believe it actually had NOTHING to do with driving! HI Spa. No, it's not my CDL, can't have one of them anymore because of medical reasons, it was my regular operators liscense. In '06 I got a 'warning' ticket for going 49 in a 45, no big deal. Later on when I went to get my liscense re-newed I was informed that it had been suspended!! Found out it was for a ticket that I supposedly got for driving on an expired liscense a full 2 months BEFORE it expired!! The only ticket I've had since '89 was that "warning' ticket, so I was clueless. Went to the Porter County Clerks Office (the County where I got the 'warning' at), and I supposedley got THAT ticket the same time I got the 'warning'...hmmmm!! News to me. I tried fighting it at first, but to no avail. Anyway, by the time it was all said and done (plus plenty of 'fee's'), I also wound up having to take the written and driving tests again as well...only ever did that once and that was 32 years ago!!! HAAAA!! I took the written last week...only missed 1 out of 50!!! Took the driving yesterday and finally got it back...whew!! Getting around for me is never really a problem as I've got cool family and friends, but it totally sucked just not having that freedom to come and go as I please. Now I'm looking for a car...so if your out there HB, send something my way!!! lol

Ron, you have been without a license for that long! In this remote part of the states that would be a death sentence since you have to drive to get ANYWHERE. Congrats! Or, are we talking CDL License???
