I feel so sorry for the families directly involved. I hope there are no more nasty and tragic accidents in the near future! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by spapad from Sunday, April 25, 2010 7:48:02 PM)

Much sadnes indeed. I'm so sorry Becks, for you and your husband, and the families they leave behind. They are hopefully in a better place now. I'm very sorry Becks.

Even more sad news today unfortunately. A 21 year old soldier was killed while riding his motorbike to camp this morning. A very bad last couple of days for the New Zealand Defence Force.

I hope they will let him go so he may pay his last respects to his friend. Sad.

Spa - he wants to go but isn't sure if he can because he starts a course in camp this week. They should let him go for the half day he'd need to attend the funeral though, it'd be very sad if they didn't.

Sorry to hear about the death of your husband's friend. I'm sure he feels just terrible. Will he be able to attend the funeral?

Hey everyone, we're home. The parades Craig was in went well, I got some photos. We came home to sad news though. 3 of our airmen were killed in a helicopter crash this morning. Including a guy who Craig knew, he was in the army in the same trade as Craig before deciding to become a helicopter pilot in the airforce. Craig is pretty gutted, so it's sad sad news to come home to.
