Yes. Released in the year 2000+ (I threw my burned copy out the windows) and has comic book scenes in the interludes / changes of scenes. It is AWFUL! The original is so much better.
Knowing that Hollywood has run out of ideas, I recently read that there is going to be a new version due out in 2011. Ugh.
