He didn't have to, as long as he could sing like he did back then. Last album he sang great on was No more tears. About 4 songs on the whole thing worth it, but still when he gets it right, he makes the hair on your neck stand up. WHEN he does. Sorry to say, you can never get that in concert. All the songs were written by Butler and Iommi. As leader of the band Iommi credited the whole band on every song. Don't ask me why but that's what they did. From what I gather all the songs on Ozzys first two solo albums were written by Randy Rhoads and Bob Daisley. Ozzy doesn't contribute much in the writing stakes other than an idea or melody here and there but gets credit, I guess, because he makes the songs so good with his voice, presence and showmanship.
