Brother Hellrider is right though Vail... I've seen some pretty nasty things happen to cyclists not wearing a helmet. I refuse to allow my kids on their bikes without one and I NEVER ride without one.. No matter how gay it makes me look.... Then again with the amount of riding I do I do the full on lycra shorts and dayglo pink shirt with yellow livestrong shades and matching helmet to stand out in the hopes that a car or truck wont decide to aim for me but... phew! Still every ride survived on these roads is a good ride for me ha ha ha ha ha!!!
Giro and Bell make pretty decent looking and comfortable helmets... PLEASE GET ONE YOU'RE WAY TOO SPECIAL TO GET HURT!!!
It could seriiously mean the difference between life and death. Yes, something made me laugh earlier today.
I was on the road biking my way to class, and going in the opposite direction was a university bus. On the electronic marquee it said the name of the line, and then "Good Morning!" in capital letters.
It was funny, because it was two in the afternoon. Apparently somebody didn't drink their coffee. |
