Just this week around here a woman was arrested for child abuse and endangerment. She had five children and one she singled out. This child was 6 years old and weighed 18 pounds. She had pressure ulcers on her backside from where her mother had strapped her into a child car seat with zip ties each night to sleep. The news crew got some tape on the mom and she said her child suffered from genetic conditions and she only did this to "keep her safe". Sick woman. Hope the she gets exactly what she deserves, but then again, they don't hand that kind of punishment out in prison.
