I did hear about that. Sad thing to have happen. How close was the mine to your area Becks?
The story sounded very familiar to a Mine tragedy in WV not long ago. Methane was the cause there too. They never stood a chance to get anyone out due to the very high levels of methane filing the mine. 33 people died. The mine was not safe to enter to retrieve the bodies for several weeks. It will surprise no one familiar with American mining that the company in charge of the mine was Massey Energy. That company is all about greed and cuting corners. They are always running Massey commercials here trying to con the public into thinking they are working to resolve these issues. Bull. Well I want this year to be over, well and truly. It's been a shocking year for my wee country. You guys may not have seen on the news over there, but last friday a coal mine on the South Island had an explosion, which trapped 29 miners. Rescuers had not been able to go in due to the gas levels, methane mostly. And today we found out, there was a second massive explosion at the mine. Police and the mine company have said, there are no survivors, the blast was too huge
