Well its just bullshit the way Halford explained and kind of let us to belive that we would be getting "great" news in December and now this shit? Are you fucking kidding me? Jesus Christ whats wrong with this band? Its not that hard to go into the studio and record another album...oh forget it,its just as best they give up,like Necroticist said the last album by Priest and the last 2 from Halford are crap so just stop the bleeding already.
I was stupid to think that the new Halford was talking about would be news of a new studio album but silly me. I can't get around it,no matter how hard I try .....I just can't stand this band after the year 2005....I'll give it to the end of the Angel Of Retribution tour so after 2007...this band is 100% "shit". I'm gald all of you have good attitudes and will see the band live again,but not me. I'm a studio album fan not a live show fan so for me the buck stops here unfortunately.
Oh well,at least Motorhead and Saxon are still "kick ass" and Motorhead is releasing thier 20th studio LP and Saxon is releasing thier 19th studio album,while Judas Priest will be stuck at 16 albums with Nostradamus being the final curtain? WOW. A classic "heavy metal" band going out on a sour note like nostradamus is "weak" its "sad" and its "pathetic". Judas Priest will always still be my favorite band but not after 2005,thats for sure. "SIGH" yet again.

I share you sense of being let down. I really thought, they would give us one last new album before they called it quits. They have released countless greatest hits. I have to admit that reading the announcement was very disheartening. What ever happened to going out with a bang?
I will go see them one last time as I want to take Flora along with me and let her enjoy them. Heh, at least she wont have to learn any new songs. I just can't believe this is the way they chose to call it quits. Very UNJUDAS PRIEST OF THEM.
Like you said, maybe we don't know all the reasons for this decision, but for most diehard fans, we are going to feel let down by this.

I can accept that they are retiring but couldn't these lazy bastards give us one more fucking studio album to go out on? Nooooooo they have to tour again....well fuck that,the last time I saw Judas Priest live it was 1988 Ram It Down tour and that is the last time I'll see them. I ain't going to see some farewell tour without an album to go with it,so count me fucking OUT.
At least I still have Motorhead and Saxon...both are releasing.......fucking drum roll please.............BAM! "STUDIO ALBUMS"!!! Motorhead is releasing "The World Is Yours" in January 26th 2011 and Saxon is releasing a brand new studio album in March 2011 with out a title yet but they are in the studio right now probably scratching thier heads wondering why Judas Priest is retiring.
