Sad but true J.D., we the hard-core fans have lost out to the dipshits that only know 3 Priest songs...... And Jayne is full of shit if she thinks this is going out STRONG?! I have a very bad feeling that things are going on behind the scenes. If they wanted to put out new music, they would do it, period. And if it was a record deal, hell, Rob would release it on Metal God Records so that isn't it. From what Rob has been saying in interviews lately, he keeps talking about your heart has to be in it and you have to give it 1000% on stage. Well, I assure you that Rob's heart is in it and he gives it all he has, so it isn't him. All I know is, if they are pissed off at each other, we will ALL damn well know it when they tour because it will show in their performance. When I saw them in December 1990 for the Painkiller show at the Palace in Detroit, I KNEW something was very very wrong. It was a fucking awesome show - they never sounded better and Rob was the best I'd ever heard him, but they wouldn't go anywhere near each other. Every time Rob and Glenn started to walk toward each other, they immediately both went in different directions to avoid each other. I wasn't at all surprised when Rob left - I was pissed, but not surprised. If that's the case and they can't stand each other, they should just quit now. I want to believe like Hellrider that there is something more coming....... PLEASE!!!

Even 8 years from now...who wants to see another "greatest hits" set list? Lets face it Budred.....us "long-time-fans" have lost the band to losers who just want to grab a six pack and hear them play You've Got Another Thing Comin' and thats where the $money is at....they can get way more $cash from these wankers than from us "real" metalheads here at this website because if they release a brand new album and tour it,these fucking wankers wouldn't go see it vs. a tour that is called "farewell"...that wakes these wankers up and they think "oh shit I've got to see this band one more time before they retire!"....
And thats how it works here,Judas Priest realizes this and along with Jayne they are going for the $cash grab and they know it. Just like how Jayne wrote on the news section: "However, the mighty Priest will be going out "strong" as they rock the planet ...blah blah blah fucking blah.....going out "strong"? With Nostradamus being the last studio LP? "STRONG"? Pssssft...please.
I hope the members in here enjoy thier last meet and greets with the band ect...I hope everyone has a good attitude for seeing this band live yet again ect..but not me,Judas Priest has "fizzled out" with a "weak" last chapter of an otherwise good career. They have failed miserably and I mean miserably these last 5 years. What a shame. I see nothing possitive from this band,none whatsoever. They really should of announced that they will be retireing "NOW" with no tour and no album,just go home and waddle off into retirement already fuck. Painkiller(1990) and Angel Of Retribution(2005)....only 2 decent quality albums in the last 20 years and the band has done NOTHING about it these last 3 years to change it? Now that is not "defending the faith"........
maybe Judas Priest has turned into "Defenders Of The Fake"?
