That and all the fine work he is producing with Dave Holland wouldn't allow him to give 1000% and produce an album with real Brian "swagger." HAAAA! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Head banger from Thursday, December 30, 2010 1:10:05 PM)

Priest with another new singer? Oh HELL NO! THAT to me would be the final insult.
As for the health theory (hope not), it is interesting and one I hadn't thought of before. Way I see it, health being the cause or not, the "break" here is Glenn. I see KK active, most certainly Rob, Scott and, sad as it is, I would even say that they would record and even tour without Ian. If Glenn was on board, that is, and I say that he is not.

There are several things I'd bet my last dollar on...
When the band played it's last set together, none of them thought it would be there last (not counting the farewell tour).
There's a health issue with one of the members.
KK would love nothing more than to be in the studio recording another Priest album.
Rob releasing a new solo album and going on two different tours now were the final nails in the Priest coffin.
To me, this reeks of the same stench that separated the band in the early 90's. I get that KK is still young enough to keep going, but he's the youngest of the main four and it takes ALL of them to pull Priest off no matter what KK wants. Do we want to see Priest continue with a different singer again? I don't!!
I'm glad they're doing a final tour even though it comes without a new release, this way I can say goodbye if I choose and as many times as I choose. I refuse to let the final years ruin 30+ years for me. I didn't get this chance in '92 or whatever year it was. If new Metalheads can't figure out what happend at the end, oh well, we don't get it either but it's not our choice. Our choice is to give them the respect they've earned or not to.
I don't blame anyone for being pissed off and lashing out under the circumstances. Some of the most interesting posts are the ones that are written off the cuff based purely on emotion. But in my world, when the fog lifts, I love Judas Priest and I'll support them to the end. It's the least I can do for all that they've given me in my lifetime.
