Yeah but when they were in the writting sessions for Painkiller they were all 38 years old ect... Glenn will be 63 by the time the new album is out,I don't think they meant to "go soft" on the Angel Of Retribution album I just think that is basically as heavy as they can get at age 60 but I can be wrong. I just don't think at 60 years old K.K. Glenn or Rob have the "anger" inside them to unleash something as powerful as Painkiller. I think alls that is left in the tank is a style like Riding On The Wind or The Sentinal, not Painkiller and Metal Meltdown,I think they are too old to create new songs as heavy and as angry as these tracks but thats my opinion,we'll see when the LP is out.

There is only one painkiller and there shall be no other. I'm sure they can deliver an album that envokes it but is not it, perhaps even better. My opine for what it's worth.

Hellrider although I don't care for the album when you found out that the "Made Of Metal" LP wasn't hard hitting/pounding like Painkiller you still managed to enjoy the record, and "IF" Priest's next LP isn't as heavy as Painkiller but still is filled with quality songs I'll bet you'll find a way to enjoy it.
