Oh yeh, she's going to be the one graduate who cant point out China on a map but could tell you how to do meticulous nails and makeup. lol
I do find it funny that people pigeonhole people who like metal music as boneheads when the majority of people listen to top 40 bullshit and have no taste whatsoever.

well, I guess it's because people have more "important" thinks to worry about, like the way they look or how fat they are...It's like people who say all metal heads are satanists or the like just because of the "music" we listen to, they do not even understand the lyrics!...I know we're not singing about the beauty of paradise or that shit, but we're not killin people either, that's something else...and in college I had a very stupid classmate who during a speech about a subtitling project said that the most difficult part was burning the CD and finding what a SUB car was...and you should see her analyzing literature, I couldn't stop laughing!

It is a shame that people don't appreciate things that are so easy to find out about. Even if you never go anywhere these days you can learn so much by a simple internet search.
I did actully have a college graduate physical therapist who seriously looked at me once durring a conversation and asked me where Greece was. I know my face must have betrayed me as I couldn't believe that she didn't know such a simple thing. Every child at some point in time learns about the Greeks by third grade! It does amaze me that people don't even know simple geography.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! are you fu%&$ serious!?!?!!? can't believe it!! well, actually I do, I deal with "stoopid" people every single day, you never expect the nonsense they're about to say...
I think it was a great idea you made one on your own, $300 is too much for a vase
haha, ingines...wtf, I can't get over it...hahaha... well I bet it looks great, it doesn't matter if people can't distinguish their thumb from any other finger, at least you know it looks great, and they should feel like idiots not even knowing what's it all about, so don't worry about that...personally I think it's a shame people do not appreciate all world history, and sometimes they don't even know their own country's, but it's good to have some smart people around

They go along with a large greek vase I made a few years back. I wanted one but I was not going to pay $300.00 for one. So, when I saw a pot in a local crafts store that was big and made about the right way, I took it home, sanded it down some and made my own pot. It turned out pretty good, and it now is the centerpiece of my office on the top of my bookshelves. So, the statues go with that, although I actually have to explain that to about EVERYONE at my office because they don't know shit about history or the outside world in general. One of them looked at the statues and asked me why I have "Ingines" in my office, didn't even say indians. Really, that's the stupid people I work with.

The mail probably wont slow it down that much, in some cases yes though, as I just experienced. lol
I bought two sculptures online at the first of this month and it took two weeks for it to get here. By it's tracking number it sat in a UPS warhouse in Oklahoma City for a week before moving an inch! I would have just as soon NOT had the tracking number as that just made me all that much more ticked off about.
At the same time I ordered something from London and paid the cheepest shipping, and it got to me before a package originating in my own country. lol
