Screaming For Vengeance is near the bottom of your Priest favorites? WOW. You do realize that if Defenders Of The Faith were to come out right now instead of 1984 you would fucking HATE the album!! This next Priest studio album aint gonna be another Painkiller album Hellrider,the odds are stacked up so high against it its not even funny,I love ya to death hellrider but your in for a massive let down I'm afraid. The problem you have is that you really only like one Judas Priest album out of 16 albums..."PAINKILLER".
That limits you of course to want another album in the same vien but with its own identity,but again the odds are so highly stacked up against you it will be a letdown for you because lets face it,this next Judas Priest album...."if there is going to be another album" will be the LAST Judas Priest studio album and the band are not simply going to limit themselves to every track on the album a Metal Meltdown or a Painkiller especially at age 60.
We'll all be here for you to pick up the pieces when you fall my friend HA! And Jawbreaker doesn't smoke Deal With The Devil....I like Jawbreaker a little bit better but Deal With The Devil could of easily been on Defenders Of The Faith....."Rock Hard Ride Free isn't better than Deal With the Devil,not even close hehe!
Defenders has 3 lame tracks on it for me...Rock Hard Ride Free (I fucking hate this song) Eat Me Alive and Night Comes Down. Those 3 tracks to me are weak. Yes Eat Me Alive spanks of "CHEESE". Retribution has 4 songs that are weak links,Revolution,Worth Fighting For,Angel and Lochness,however I'd take "Worth Fighting For" over Rock Hard Ride Free any day. But thats just my personal opinon of course.
For me ...Judas Rising,Deal With the Devil,Demonizer,Wheels Of Fire,Eulegy and Hellrider all 6 songs reek of classic quality Judas Priest material. Even "Angel" is better than Defenders "Night Comes Down" which has irritated me all these years......jeeze....I still think your wacked about Hellrider being the only track worthy from Retribution,but to each his own.
I'll admit the Defenders Of The Faith is a little bit better than Angel Of Retribution so is Screaming For Vengeance but Angel Of Retribution isn't all that far off in quality.
Another Painkiller album isn't going to happen though,I don't want it to happen either to tell you the truth,there is more to Judas Priest than "Painkiller" like Ripley says......belive it or not.
THEY POSTED ABOUT THE LP PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU PM THEM.LOL

Remeber that thread where 20 people posted how much they liked the LP and it was only you and Brian_Evans who dogged on it. If you think that album sucks then so does Screaming For Vengeance and so does Defenders Of The Faith.
The "odds" of them making another "Painkiller" are headed into a million to one so I hate to say it but I think your going to be let down. It puzzles me that for you the band MUST create a Painkiller or anything else would suck. It just puzzles me. WHY? Whats wrong with taking a step backwards if the songs are brilliant? Another thing that ultimately puzzles me is that you think "Judas Rising.Deal With The Devil,Demonizer all are "weak"??? That just blows me away. If you think "Deal With The Devil" sucks than how can you like "Jawbreaker" They are practically on the same levels...thats like somebody saying "I like Electric Eye but I hate Freewheel Burning? It just doesn't add up........sigh"...to each his own. I'll never figure you out Hellrider..."sigh". lol!

The last well-rounded heavy metal album from Judas Priest ....6 years ago...wow....
I am itching for some Judas Priest styled heavy metal that is brand new and for me personally the new album doesn't need a Painkiller matched style in intensity,if the band cranked out british heavy metal like in the vien and style 5 of the tracks on Angel Of Retribution...Judas Rising,Deal With The Devil,Demonizer,Wheels Of Fire or Hellrider I would be happy cellebrating the last album from Judas Priest with a smile....
sorry Hellrider I know its Painkiller or bust for you and Brain_Evans ,theres not too many that just want Painkiller or bust but for the rest of us we'll gladly take that Painkiller style or tunes like this since it is quality heavy metal from Judas Priest!!!!!!!!!!
